Winter Break

For the past three days, it has been winter break...

...AND IT HAS BEEN AMAZING.

I ordered and received my new iPhone case in the mail thanks to a wonderful kate spade sample sale:

I visited friends:

So attractive...my best friend from high school who is now a teacher and lives smack dab in the middle of the state.

My two best friends from college plus a new little addition :) 

I FINALLY finished Husband's med school quilt that I've been working on for way too long:

I made this recipe, this recipe, and this recipe and all were delicious. 

I also slept in a lot, got caught up on tasks around the apartment I've been meaning to get to, and enjoyed taking things easy before the chaos starts back up again.
